CBCA assisted displaced families from Kanyaruchinya camp

More than 200 displaced families received humanitarian assistance from the 3rd CBCA in food and non-food as part of the Project “Support for families of internally displaced persons in the Kanyaruchinya Camp”. It was in front of the office of the Ecclesiastical Post of Goma that this activity was opened by a moment of exhortation and prayer by the Reverend Matumo, pastor of the Parish CBCA Virunga who shared a message of comfort to the families affected by the war of the M23 terrorists.
Returning to the context of the intervention of this project, Mrs. Christine Musongya Director of the Department of Diakonia and Development of the CBCA indicated that this project financed by the United Evangelical Mission first targets vulnerable people, the elderly, the pregnant and breastfeeding women. The batch given to each of the beneficiaries consists of 12.5 kg of corn flour, 10 kg of beans, 6 kg of rice, 3 kg of soybeans and sugar with a blanquette for each.
With this assistance, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for this CBCA initiative which, beyond the aid received from the MEU, also continues to collect other aid from Christians everywhere in order to find something to share with these displaced families who are in need. A recommendation of holy scriptures to which many are rallying more and more.
